A federal judge has dismissed an indictment against a Canadian
accused of killing an American Indian activist in 1975. But
prosecutors in Sioux Falls quickly filed a new complaint against the
man, John Graham, a former member of the American Indian Movement. He
was scheduled to stand trial in the death of Annie Mae Aquash, whose
body was found on the Pine Ridge reservation.
