The Solid Silver 60s Show is now in its 24th year and brings together
the unforgettable talents of The Searchers, Merseybeats, Wayne
Fontana, and special guest John Walker of the Walker Brothers for two
performances at the Queen's Theatre in Barnstaple on Saturday 21st March.

Still going strong, the UK's premier 60s show promises to transport
the audience back to the 'summer of love' to reminisce about the good
old times and listen to some of the most influential sounds of the
era by the original hit makers of the decade.

Chart topping group The Searchers join the tour for the 11th time
with their distinctive jangling sound of the twelve string guitar
coupled with their rich harmonies. During the 60s the band notched up
a run of over eighteen hit records, including Sweets For My Sweet,
Love Potion Number Nine, Sugar and Spice and Goodbye My Love.

Along with The Beatles, the Merseybeats were one of the main
exponents of the Liverpool sound that had such a huge influence on
the music industry around the world. Expect to hear their hits
including I Think Of You, Don't Turn Around, Wishin' and Hopin', and Yes I Do.

Also on the line-up is Wayne Fontana, known for his songs Game of
Love and Pamela Pamela, The Dakotas famous for their number ones Bad
For Me and Little Children , and special guest John Walker of the
Walker Brothers performing his hits including The Sun Ain't Gonna
Shine Anymore and Make It Easy On Yourself.
