Get out that old tie-dye. Taos is revving up to celebrate the 40th
anniversary of the film "Easy Rider," the iconic 1960s film that
opens at Taos Pueblo.

The 2009 Summer of Love in Taos will feature art and film shows,
festivals, concerts and other special events from May through September.

"Easy Rider" star Dennis Hopper, who will be in New Mexico shooting
"Crash" this summer, will show his art at the Harwood Museum. "Hopper
at the Harwood" will feature an exhibit of artists who came together
in the 1960s. Artists to be featured include Larry Bell, Ron Cooper,
Ronald Davis, Ken Price and Robert Dean Stockwell.
