Legendary psychedelic heroes The Zombies are to headline a new 'Rock
Royalty' tour, which will also feature The Yardbirds and the Spencer
Davis Group.

The Zombies are responsible for one of the most seminal albums to
emerge from the psychedelic era. 'Odyssey And Oracle' was released in
1968, and captures some of the wide eyed wonder of the era. Famously,
the group scored a massive hit single in the United States with 'Time
Of The Season' just after splitting up.

Not able to enjoy their success the first time round, The Zombies are
set to star on a new tour which brings together some of the finest
bands from the period. Fresh from a handful of dates in which they
played 'Odyssey And Oracle' in its entirety, the band will head over
to the United States for a very special tour.

The Yardbirds were pivotal to the development of psychedelic rock,
producing three of the finest guitar players to pick up a six string.
Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page are all graduates from the
band, who recently held open auditions to find a new singer.

A massive influence of the initial garage scene, The Yardbirds rarely
get the credit they deserve as being a pivotal band in the
development of rock music.

Fellow 60s act Spencer Davis Group are perhaps best remembered as
being the launching pad for the career of Stevie Winwood. The band's
singer, Winwood became a pop idol while still a teenager, with his
soulful growl entrancing the group's young Mod audience.

The new tour is not the only 60s superstar collaboration set to take
place this year. Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck plan to take to the stage
together for the first time, with the twin guitar giants set to play
a handful of shows in Japan.

The 'Rock Royalty' tour is set to kick off on June 26th in San Diego.
Winding its way through the United States, the tour will finish at
the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York on July 10th.
